All the talk of afternoon rain was for naught. Oh the life of a weather forecaster. How many of your jobs allow you to be right only 30% of the time? That said, the weather held off and a group of about a dozen showed for this week’s chicken ride. South winds made for a clockwise rotation which at the beginning had a bit of a Stooges Woo,Woo, Woo factor. Once everyone got organized and realized what was happening life was good.

“Weigh Too Light” CR1 ridden by none other than Gilberto Simoni himself. Needless to say Doug is more than capable of holding his own in a group, pushing the tempo and battling it out with our very own Boz only to end up being the 1st person to finish second.Matt Caron bought coffee........
