Not even a King could get his loyal subjects to come out on April 25th. A party of three (Matt, Tom and Myself) headed out in what appeared__operative word__ to be a dry start.Then there were 4-- Picking up one unknown soldier passing by Springrock Park there were a total of four riders on the road probably in all of Chicago.
The Rain began .... oh .... around ...... County Line Rd and Frontage Rd. We forged on cutting the ride short and taking a b-line to the nearest Starbucks. The only thing crazier than the three of us actually riding was the fact that Tom did not want to go home once the rain came. He was considering forging on with our new found friend who was of the opinion well I am wet anyways. Matt and I convinced him otherwise. This did however make the ride all worth while -- Tom is Nuts.
At least we didn't start in the rain .... and for those that didn't come ..... well you didn't miss much. That said another Chickenride in the books and hopefully better weather to come.
