Runaway Haas!!

It was a light crowd since Tawse and Ritzler were parenting their children at a play. They were kind enough to show up at the Bucks post ride. The crew rolled out - we had: Distal's x 2, Feltz, Bos, King, Billy on a bike that fit him, Mark, The Downtube shifter, big fat Smooot, Haas aka #252, and Mangerson(sp?). It was a light breeze and a good roll down fromtage rd. The Feltz went WAY early for the frontage sprint, King was on a mission to reel him in with a Smott on his wheel. Richie took the sprint and wanted to puke afterwards. Bluff rd was fairly mellow, no major turns of anger here. A nice rotating line was had by all, and no real fireworks until rolling back in on Madison, the lifters were downsized to King, Bos, Haas, Feltz, and an occasional Smoot. Plainfield rd was fast. King put in a LARGE effort with the Feltz ramping it up from there. Richie has the Haas in tow, and launched off the Feltz to get 2/3rd up the climb before imploding, but delivered Haas free and clear to chase the line down. Bos was there, but felt compelled to go 90% as the last few weeks he was caught by the light. No luck - Haas snuck under the green and the remaining boys were left to ride for second place. A great ride and a fun time post ride at the Bucks.
